Ingredients
- 3/4 lb ground beef
- 3/4 lb ground pork
- 3/4 cup fresh breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup Parmesan
- 3 garlic cloves divided
- 1/4 cup parsley
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion diced
- 2 cans 28 oz whole tomatoes crushed
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 lb spaghetti
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Soak breadcrumbs in milk for 5 minutes
- Mix with meats, egg, Parmesan, one garlic clove, parsley, salt, and pepper
- Shape into 20 meatballs and brown in olive oil
- Remove meatballs and soften onion and remaining garlic
- Add tomatoes and oregano and simmer 20 minutes
- Return meatballs and simmer gently 35 minutes
- Cook spaghetti until al dente
- Serve pasta with sauce and homemade meatballs
